Black History Month: Film Screening—The Queen of Katwe

Celebrate Black History Month with us!

Join the College of Graduate Studies for a free screening of the 2016 film The Queen of Katwe.

The movie is inspired by the true story of a Ugandan girl whose life changes forever when she discovers she has an amazing talent for chess.

This event is open to all students, staff, and faculty at UBC Okanagan.

Refreshments will be provided.
