Brain Awareness Week

As one of the top research-based universities in the country, UBC Okanagan wants to share the brain-related research that is underway on campus.

Join us on March 14 to discover the wonders of the brain through interactive exhibits, engaging talks, and hands-on activities. Immerse yourself in the fascinating world of the brain and learn about the latest research and advancements in the field. Answer brain-related trivia questions correctly, and enter for a chance to win prizes from local companies. Don’t miss out on this opportunity to expand your knowledge and have a brain-tastic time! There will also be a “Snack Time” room where refreshments will be provided.

At 3:30 pm, Associate Professor Dr. Brodie Sakakibara of UBC’s Faculty of Medicine will be presenting the keynote, delving into the nuances of neurorehabilitation.

Brain Awareness Week is presented by the Neuroplasticity, Imagery, and Motor Behaviour Laboratory in conjunction with the Department of Psychology at UBC Okanagan, The Dana Foundation, and the International Brain Research Organization.
