The Okanagan Nation Alliance (ONA) is a non-profit organization that represents the Syilx nation members and other Indigenous peoples. The Wellness Department of the ONA offers programs and services grounded in the Syilx-centered framework as a means of reclaiming and restoring Syilx ways of being and knowing through a holistic lens.
The ONA believes that mentorship is key in the success of students. Consequently, the ONA provides Internships and Summer Student Work opportunities annually for students and graduates who wish to explore employment experiences in one our five key operational areas:
- Administration
- Fisheries
- Natural Resources
- Wellness
- Business Development
This employer information session will cover job opportunities, roles and work culture within the Wellness Department at ONA.
