CCGS Lecture

February 28 at 3:30 pm - 5:00 pm

Mark your calendars for an important event organized by the Events, Colloquia and Pedagogy Committee of the Department of Community, Culture and Global Studies.

Join Muhannad Ayyash and Jeremy Wildeman, co-editors of Canada as a Settler Colony on the Question of Palestine, as they explore how the paradigm of settler colonialism can help scholars make sense of what informs and shapes Canada’s policies in regard to Israel and Palestine.

Jeremy Wildeman is a Fellow at the Human Rights Research and Education Centre at the University of Ottawa. M. Muhannad Ayyash is Professor of Sociology at Mount Royal University.

In-person space is limited. Email ccgs.okanagan@ubc.ca to secure a seat or to obtain the Zoom webinar code.
