Water connects all living things. Ensuring resilient water systems for society and ecosystems is a global priority, challenged by both present and future impacts of a changing climate.
Join the Climate Solutions Research Collective for a thought-provoking two-day symposium exploring the intersection of climate and water. Through expert panels, interactive discussions, and interdisciplinary collaboration, this event will bring together researchers, students, and community members to examine key challenges and solutions.
Faculty, students, researchers, and community members interested in climate, water governance, and sustainability are encouraged to participate in this in-person symposium.
Day One: Climate+Water at UBC Okanagan
Hosted in collaboration with the Watershed Ecosystem Research Excellence Cluster, day one will focus on ecosystem resilience, watershed governance, and Indigenous perspectives on water stewardship. These sessions will take place at UBC Okanagan.
