Collaborative Cyanotype Workshop

August 8 at 1:00 pm - 2:30 pm

Karen Zalamea is the FCCS 2024 Woodhaven Artist in Residence, and is offering a workshop creating cyanotype prints during her residency.

During the workshop, participants will collaborate on a large-scale cyanotype, a camera-less photographic technique. In consideration of photography as a mode of encounter with place, participants create a contact print with natural and human-made matter from the surrounding area. The selected items will be placed directly on the photographic surface to create the print, and the cyanotype will present their detailed contours.

This workshop is free and open to the public. Space is limited to 15 people.
