Community Connection Series: Beyond My Disability

The Centre for Student Involvement & Careers is excited to introduce and invite you to participate in our new networking series, Community Connection Series. The Community Connection Series is a networking event that connects students of equity-seeking populations with industry professionals who have a vested interest in engaging with and mentoring them. 

Our second event will focus on exploring the intersections of an individual’s disability and the world of work. We will highlight speakers who will share their lived experience and talk about their personal journey and professional growth, along with the challenges they have faced. The panel event will be followed by an informal virtual networking session with these speakers.

• Location: Zoom | Event link will be sent 24-72 hours before the event date. If you wish to do so, you can maintain your privacy on Zoom by logging in using only your first name or a nickname, turning off your camera, and muting your microphone. The event will not be recorded.
