Community, Culture and Global Studies 2022 Speaker Series: Reconnecting, Reconciling, and Embodying Values of Decolonization

January 28, 2022 at 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm

Free

The Community, Culture and Global Studies 2022 Speaker Series, in collaboration with the Public Anthropology Speaker Series, invites you to attend a talk by Sandra Fox.

Fox is from the Musqueam Indian Band and has lived most of her life in Syilx and Secwepemc territories. She is currently the Indigenous Community Liaison in the Office of Research Services at the UBCO.

Fox will present how in the move towards true reconciliation, it is imperative we each begin a personal journey of decolonization where we explore who we are as a whole person before examining our values and how we choose to embody them each day.

All are welcome to attend this free event, but pre-registration is required.
