Copyright and Fair Dealing for Theses and Dissertations

Copyright and Fair Dealing may apply to charts, graphs, photographs or survey instruments you plan on including in your thesis or dissertation, and it is important to respect the original author’s copyright.
This workshop will guide you as to when to request permission, and when to apply the Fair Dealing Exception. If you have specific items you are wanting to include, please bring them for discussion purposes.
This workshop qualifies for the Scholarly Research, Writing, and Publishing Credential offered through the College of Graduate Studies.
Suitable for graduate students from all disciplines.
