Graeme Yamagishi
Graeme has travelled a long, twisting, and definitely non-linear road towards earning his CPA designation. With high school dreams of gazing at stars in Hawaii as an astronomer by night and surfer by day, Graeme quickly realized university-level physics was hard (like, really hard). After pursuing multiple alternative degree paths and courses, teaching English in Japan, and working at Apple in Vancouver, Graeme decided to bite the bullet and go back to school again to pursue marketing – hah! That is, until he met Tamara – she convinced him to turn to the “dark side” to pursue accounting, and he has since worked his butt off and never looked back, and credits (har har) that fateful accounting class for opening some pretty incredible doors he never knew existed that led him to the wonderful career he has now.
Andy Le
Andy pursued his CPA through industry while working at Sentes Automotive Group. Embracing his lifelong enthusiasm for cars, he founded Kelowna Dream Car Rentals, later expanding and acquiring his competitor, Okanagan Executive Rentals & Concierge. Beyond the automotive realm, Andy co-founded Keligraphic Studios—a photo and video production company—with his partner, Louisa, transforming his hobbies into businesses. When he’s not managing his own companies, he advises Belgravia Hartford Capital as a fractional CFO, a publicly traded investment company based in Toronto. His journey exemplifies how a CPA designation can be a catalyst for both business success and personal fulfillment.
