Blue crochet stress ball with black eyes

Join makerspace UBCO for beginner-friendly crochet workshops in the Sawchuk Family Theatre on October 25 and 28!

These 3-hour sessions are designed to provide a relaxing break to the busy semester while learning the basics of crochet. You don’t need to stay for the entire time and can come and go as you please. A leader will be able to help you out at whatever stage in the project that you may be in, whether you’re just getting started, or working on the final stages. This hands-on workshop will guide you through creating a project to take home.

This week’s project is a friendly little stress ball! We will cover a few stitch types, as well as a magic circle (an integral skill for more advanced projects later).

This event is free and all materials are provided. Seats are limited, so registration is required. Don’t miss this fun and creative afternoon—secure your spot today!
