The UBC Okanagan Centre for Teaching and Learning invites you to join us for a series of online workshops. Our workshops are held in Collaborate Ultra. Everyone is welcome!
Turnitin
This session provides an overview and introduction to using Turnitin. Turnitin is used at UBC to check student submissions for originality. Turnitin can help to encourage original work and deter students from submitting assignments that may be plagiarized intentionally or inadvertently. The session will focus on:
- how to use Turnitin as a tool to improve writing that is original
- how to get started and set up your instructor account
- how to set up Turnitin for student submissions
