In this workshop, you will learn how to:
- Identify the characteristics of reputable and predatory publishers
- Use reliable tools and resources to assess the credibility and impact of publishers and journals
- Apply best practices for choosing a suitable publishing venue for your research
- Protect your rights as an author and ensure the long-term preservation and accessibility of your work
The workshop will consist of a presentation, a hands-on exercise, and a Q&A session. You will also receive a list of useful links and references for further guidance.
This workshop qualifies for the Scholarly Research, Writing, and Publishing Credential offered through the College of Graduate Studies.
