Food Skills Workshop

October 9 at 5:00 pm - 6:30 pm

Event Series Event Series (See All)

Our peer-led food skills workshops exist to foster food skills and community while providing students with a free meal. Recipes and dialogues are intentionally selected to increase confidence in food selection and planning, food preparation, food safety, and storage skills. All skill levels are welcome to join. Learn basic meal prepping skills, food budgeting skills, how to build a balanced meal, and more! Bring a container in case there are leftovers!

Peer-led workshops to foster food skills and build community. Participants will have their own station with ingredients provided while the facilitator leads everyone through the recipe. Afterwards, everyone eats together and discusses a topic. New recipe every week! All skill levels welcome. Registration required (opens the Monday before the workshop).
