Future of Work: The Future of the Workforce

Join us for our first Future of Work event!
Future of Work is a four-part event series where the UBC Faculty of Management and BDO Canada have brought together a series of panels focused on the forces shaping the future of work. With pandemic-induced changes, rapid technological advancement, and increased urgency to mitigate the climate change crisis, the world of work is dynamic. With real-world perspectives and personal philosophies, we are working alongside faculty and external partners to connect knowledge and expertise to share insights on the future of work.
Our first event, The Future of the Workforce, will be held from 3-4 p.m. in UNC200. This event examines how people are an organization’s most valuable asset, and how management of human resources plays a critical role in helping organizations respond to challenges and opportunities. We will explore real-world cases of how human resource experts are responding to the demands of pandemic-accelerated change and to understand what strategies and organizational structures enable a dynamic talent and work model for the future.
