What does it mean to be a successful city?
Growth Machine references the dominant role that capitalism and capitalists play in (re)making cities primarily as sources of continuous capital accumulation, rather than as living and dwelling spaces for the cities’ occupants.
How are cities understood? How is space developed? Who manages the development of cities and spaces, how, and to what purpose?
