Intercultural Sport Series: Karate Workshop

UBCO Recreation, Indigenous Programs & Services, and the Global Engagement Office, together with SUO Clubs and community partners are teaming up to offer a series of cultural sports events that welcome domestic and international students to participate in and learn about intercultural sports.
Students will learn the foundational skills of these sports and activities while having fun engaging in multiple activities.
Participants are encouraged to participate in multiple events to expand their knowledge and experience with a variety of sports. By attending 2 or more events, participants will automatically be entered to win grand prizes!
Join the Japanese Culture Club as they lead a karate workshop. Participants will have an opportunity to learn basic karate skills. No prior experience is required.
