Keynote Speaker: Leanne Betasamosake Simpson

May 24, 2021 at 1:00 pm - 2:30 pm

The Indigenous Art Intensive features a series of world-renowned speakers throughout the months of may and June. Join us for a series of artist talks, panel conversations and keynote presentations.

The Keynote speaker will be Leanne Betasamosake Simpson, a renowned Michi Saagiig Nishnaabeg scholar, writer and artist, who has been widely recognized as one of the most compelling Indigenous voices of her generation.

Her work breaks open the intersections between politics, story and song—bringing audiences into a rich and layered world of sound, light, and sovereign creativity.
