Learning R: Conditions
October 22 at 3:00 pm - 4:00 pm

Join us for the R Fundamentals for Data Analysis workshop series! This series of introductory workshops is intended for individuals with little to no familiarity with R or similar tools that rely on a scripted environment. They are intended as a low-barrier entry into the world of using your computer to engage with data outside of graphical tools like Excel or SPSS.
Conditions: This session will introduce conditionals in R, addressing those times when, for example, if something is true, x needs to happen; otherwise, y needs to happen. Participants will be introduced to pre-existing if / else constructs, as well as how to construct conditional statements from scratch. By the end of this session, participants will be able to effectively implement simple if/else constructs into their data analysis pipelines.
