This event welcomes students, faculty, staff and community members who are interested in learning more about cannabis, how it works in the brain, and its potential benefits. Whether you’re curious about this topic or already well-versed in the current science, you will find value in attending.

What to Expect

  • Insightful Discussion: Engage in a thought-provoking conversation about cannabis – from the endocannabinoid system to clinical application – featuring Dr. Kathleen Scullion & Selena Wong.
  • Q&A Session: Have your burning questions about cannabis answered during a dedicated Q&A session.

About the Speakers

  • Dr. Kathleen Scullion completed her PhD in Neuroscience at the University of Calgary where she performed novel investigations into the effects of stress and cannabinoids on movement representations in the brain.
  • Selena Wong is a medical cannabis wellness advisor and educator at Flower of Life Integrative Health.

About the Organizer

  • The Okanagan Psychedelic Society is dedicated to fostering a grassroots presence and building a network for individuals who value or want to know more about psychedelics and entheogens.
