Is a Master of Social Work professional degree right for you? Please join us for an in-person information session on Wednesday, February 15 at noon to discover the path to a professional career as a health and human service leader.
Learn about the two Master of Social Work (MSW) tracks at UBC Okanagan. If you have a 4-year Bachelor degree in any discipline, you’re eligible for the Foundational Two-Year Track. If you have a Bachelor of Social Work, you’re eligible for the Advanced One-Year Track.
Both programs combine core courses, electives, and field practicums with dynamic, community-based agencies. Upon graduation with your professional degree, you can find careers in private or clinic counselling, education, healthcare, the justice system, professional coaching or other leadership roles in public or private organizations. The need for clinically-trained social workers is high. Help create positive change for communities, families and individuals.
Our Program Coordinator, Field Education Coordinator and Faculty will present information on both program tracks and career options.
