The Public Anthropology Speaker Series invites you to attend a discussion with Dr. Christine Schreyer and Dr. Shannon Ward.

Dr. Schreyer’s research focuses on language documentation and reclamation in Canada and Papua New Guinea. Dr. Ward examines language socialization in minoritized language communities from China.

Dr. Ward and Dr. Schreyer discuss the role of place in language reclamation by exploring the Taku River Tlingit Place Names Reclamation Project and Family Folkstories from minoritized Chinese languages.
