Public Humanities Hub – Okanagan Book Club: Policing Black Lives by Dr. Robyn Maynard

The Public Humanities Hub – Okanagan (PHH-O) Book Club is an initiative that provides a virtual space for the UBCO and Okanagan community to discuss chosen books monthly.

The Public Humanities Hub – Okanagan, in collaboration with The African Caribbean Student Club, presents this month’s event featuring Robyn Maynard’s Policing Black Lives: State Violence in Canada from Slavery to the Present. The virtual discussion will be moderated by Perpetuah Muthui of the UBC Equity and Inclusion Office.
