Public Talk with Phanuel Antwi

Join the Equity & Inclusion Office and the Faculty of Creative and Critical Studies for a Public Talk by Phanuel Antwi, Canada Research Chair in Black Arts and Epistemologies and an Associate Professor with UBC Vancouver’s Department of English Language and Literatures. He writes, researches, and teaches critical Black studies; settler colonial studies; Black Atlantic and diaspora studies; Canadian literature and culture since 1830; critical race, gender and sexuality studies; and material cultures.

We welcome UBC community members and the public to attend his talk. He will be discussing his 2023 book On Cuddling: Loved to Death in the Racial Embrace.
