Researcher Drop-Ins with the CSC, featuring the Office of Research Services and Writing and Academic Communication Support

Researchers are invited to meet your Okanagan research support team! The Centre for Scholarly Communication (CSC) will be hosting weekly drop-ins to help answer your questions and guide your research.

You can stop by LIB 111 every Tuesday from 1:30 to 2:30 pm throughout the term to learn more about the ways the CSC can help researchers maximize their effectiveness.

This week’s featured services are

  • Office of Research Services (ORS). ORS is the central administrative office for research support at UBC Okanagan. ORS works closely with researchers to facilitate grant applications, oversee research accounts, and ensure research compliance at UBC Okanagan. Faculty performing research at UBC Okanagan are encouraged to attend to connect with ORS.
  • Writing and Academic Communication support. Join us to learn how the CSC can help with your research questions about journal articles, grant proposals, theses, dissertations, coursework, and conference presentations.

Along with out featured specialists, you can meet other specialists in areas including Research Computing, Library, and Office of Research Services who are happy to answer any questions you may have about your research needs. Come join us to connect with friendly faces who are always there to support solutions for your scholarly communication and digital or data-intensive research needs.

Come by to chat, learn more, or ask questions! No registration is needed, just stop by for a beverage or snack.
