Seed Saving Workshop

October 9 at 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm

Free

UBCO Library invites you to join us for a free workshop on Thursday, October 9, on how to save seeds from your plants! Don’t miss this great opportunity to get your questions answered and learn the basics of seed-saving from local Organic Farming expert Jon Alcock of Sunshine Farm.

Why attend?

  • To keep a free supply of your favourite seeds and increase your personal food security
  • To save money on buying seed packets
  • To help sustain the seed library by returning seeds so others can borrow them next spring

This workshop is suitable for all, from beginner to experienced gardeners. Even if you didn’t get a chance to grow this season, but you’d like to learn for the future, please join us.

If you think you may come, we’d appreciate if you register so we know how many to expect.
