Sustainable entrepreneurship workshop

Drs. Usman and Yousaf are visiting professors from Pakistan spending their sabbatical at UBC Okanagan. Having personally witnessed the devastation of climate change in their home country and are passionate about promoting sustainable entrepreneurship across the world. As part of their visit, they are conducting a research study entitled, “Green Venturing: Investigating Sustainable Entrepreneurial Intentions Amongst Engineering Students.”  They are seeking engineering students to participate in this study.

If you are interested in participating, please complete the first survey which assesses your interest and intentions towards sustainable entrepreneurship. The survey will take 15-20 minutes to complete. Interested students are invited to attend a 1.5-hour sustainable entrepreneurship workshop with other study participants to discuss and participate in exercises related to entrepreneurial competence, resilience, networking and social relationships, and sustainability.

The workshop will be administered by Drs. Yousaf and Usman, who will provide their unique perspectives on the global need for sustainable entrepreneurship.

The workshop takes place Thursday, February 2, 2023, from 6 to 7:30 pm in EME 1121.

Food and refreshments will be provided.
