SVPRO Presents: Trans Allyship 101

This International Pronouns Day, join us in unraveling the gender-binary by learning more about diverse gender identities! This workshop from the Sexual Violence Prevention and Response Office (SVPRO) at UBCO will equip you with the practical skills necessary to support your gender-diverse friends, family members, and classmates.

Learn all about pronouns, pride, and cis-gendered privilege! Unlearn harmful stereotypes and gender roles! We will also discuss how to identify anti-trans bias, discrimination, and hatred, as well as how to safely respond.

This event is open to all UBCO students and is part of the Equity and Inclusion Office’s ongoing Pride Programming.
