Teaching at UBC: What I wish I knew (Panel)

This panel, primarily aimed at new faculty or sessional instructors teaching at UBC Okanagan in the fall, will feature a panel of faculty hosted by the Associate Provost, Academic Programs, Teaching and Learning, exploring key topics that are important to know if you are new to teaching at UBC (even if you have significant teaching experience elsewhere). In particular, we will explore areas including, but not limited to:

1. Learning technology tools that are available and supported at UBC
2. Key policies that impact teaching and learning at UBC
3. Supports available for faculty to support the design and delivery of their courses
4. Feedback from students (through various surveys) about their experiences at UBC

This session compliments a number of other CTL drop-in sessions and workshops scheduled throughout the final two weeks of August for faculty at UBC.
