Free

The Centre for Teaching and Learning, in partnership with Aboriginal Programs & Services and Centre for Teaching, Learning and Technology (Vancouver), will be offering the Foundations for Indigenization in Teaching & Learning Series over the summer sessions for faculty and instructors to bridge knowledge gaps and provide the foundation needed for Indigenizing teaching and learning practices at UBC Okanagan. Participants will gain the language, awareness, and foundational context necessary to begin the journey of Indigenizing curriculum, course design, and engagement.

The Okanagan Nation’s history with UBC dates back to the inception of this campus in 2005. Join Naim Cardinal, Educational Facilitator with Aboriginal Programs & Services, on an interactive journey through the evolving relationship with UBC.
