Undergraduate Research Symposium

The Annual Undergraduate Poster Symposium is an excellent opportunity for undergraduate students to share their research findings, develop communication skills, and network with UBC faculty and peers.
About the Event
This symposium prepares students for conferences by fostering communication and networking skills in a laid-back, intimate setting. At the event, there will be featured poster presentations showcasing the work of our undergraduate students.
The top three presentations from each department will be awarded prizes, including a People’s Choice prize. A panel of judges will select the top three presentations from each department.

Poster Requirements
- Poster size printed at 3 ft x 4 ft (h x l).
- Please print your poster through SUO Paper and Supply Co in UNC. You can either order in person at UBC 103 or email your request to order@paperandsupply.ca. Be sure to select matte bond The departments will cover the cost of one poster per student
- Any additional costs (e.g., satin bond or poster rolls) will not be covered by the departments and will be your responsibility.
- When ordering, please use the code provided
- Please ensure you submit your printing request no later than April 6.
Students are required to submit an abstract (no more than 250 words) to the Canvas site no later than March 27. Your abstract will be printed in the event booklet.
