Weeks of Welcome: Yoga for Mental Health
Relax your body and recharge your mind with Yoga for Mental Wellness. Happening every Wednesday, this free, gentle yoga class centres around relaxation. All students are welcome to join! No prior yoga experience is necessary. This class is meant to be easy to follow and provide you with techniques to de-stress and find a state of relaxation.
During Weeks of Welcome, Yoga for Mental Health will be held outside on the Commons Field. This outdoor yoga class will provide an opportunity to connect and feel grounded. Enjoy the fresh air and soft grass on the commons and take in the Yoga for Mental Health practice. Outdoor classes will be held on September 18 and 25 from 3:10 – 4:10 pm, meet on the Commons field outside Nechako. Please arrive a few minutes early to set up your mat.
The Yoga for Mental Wellness series is free, with no registration required. The series will run weekly during the winter terms in the Nechako gathering room.
