WIDE: A live performance event
February 1 at 8:00 pm - 9:30 pm
Join us for Miriam Cummings MFA Thesis performance from Feb 1 to 4 in the University Theatre, ADM 026.
Where does the body end?
WIDE is an intimate exploration of grief, performance, and the body. While she was training to be an actor, Miriam’s Dad died suddenly. More than a decade later, she is comparing the performance of actors on stage to the way we perform in everyday life; using poetry, storytelling, and participatory exercises to ask just how far beyond our bodies we reach.
The performance will run between 75-90 minutes with no intermission. Doors will open 30 minutes before each performance. Please arrive promptly, as latecomers will not be admitted.
