Introduction to Bayesian Statistics and Bayesian Epistemology

March 28 at 11:00 am - 12:00 pm

Free

Recent advances in computing power have allowed Bayesian statistics to become more widespread, but Bayesian statistical inference is often not well understood. This workshop will introduce key ideas using clear mathematical notation while relating the concepts to the larger picture of Bayesian statistical inference and the Bayesian perspective of randomness, states of knowledge, and epistemology. This workshop can be attended in person or online.

This workshop is tailored for those with a background in mathematics, statistics, or other quantitative sciences. If you do not have a background in the above fields, you may wish to register for An Intro to Bayesian Stats with Cats.
