Living with a life-limiting cancer diagnosis: A longitudinal qualitative study

This webinar provides insight into a community research study of ten Canadians diagnosed with metastatic cancer and how they found purpose and meaning in their lives post-diagnosis. The data reveals the patient experience on the threshold of their initial diagnosis, how they described coming to terms with the fact that their lives were irrevocably changed and how they negotiated the complex cancer care system, dealt with changing relationships, and determined personal strategies. Webinar participants will have the opportunity to respond to and discuss the research.
