A Practical Guide to Drinking Water

February 17, 2027 at 2:30 pm - 4:00 pm

Free

How do you know if your tap water is safe to drink? This workshop will help you understand where tap water comes from, what affects its quality, and how to separate common water quality myths from real concerns. You will learn how to read a water quality report, when home testing or treatment may be useful, and how water utilities monitor drinking water safety. No science background is required.

This workshop is part of the Research Excellence Workshop Leader Initiative (REWLI). Learn more and see the full list of offerings.
