Annual Sharon Thesen Lecture

The Creative Writing Program at UBCO is hosting its second annual Sharon Thesen Lecture with Creative Writing professor and author, Kevin Chong.

Chong is the author of six fiction and nonfiction books, his most recent of which is the novel, The Plague. Those titles have been named books of the year by Globe and Mail, National Post, and Amazon.ca, as well as listed for a CBC prize, a BC Book Prize, and a National Magazine Award, optioned for film and TV, and published in the US, Europe, and Australia.

His creative nonfiction and journalism recently appeared in the Guardian, the Times Literary Supplement, the Rumpus, and the South China Morning Post.

The lecture is part of the FCCS Spring Festival of the Arts, and is free and open to the public.
