The UBC Okanagan Centre for Teaching and Learning invites you to join us for a series of multi-access workshops from August 15th to the 31st. You have the choice of joining us either in person or online via Zoom.
This 90-minute workshop will provide an overview of how to create and manage assignments in Canvas, grade within Canvas, and develop rubrics that align with pedagogical goals.
Some level of familiarity with Canvas is assumed.
Topics will include:
- Duplicating and editing assignments within and across courses
- Creating effective rubrics as both teaching and assessment tools
- Adding rubrics to assignments and discussions
- Using SpeedGrader (with and without rubrics) to reduce grading time and increase consistency in marking
