About your facilitator:
Meet Laideen Thomas, a visionary leader who transformed her passion for financial empowerment into Laideen & Co. Financial Group Ltd., a boutique firm revolutionizing financial services and education for women. Her journey began with a degree from the University of Toronto in 2004, followed by an immersive study opportunity in Hong Kong during its pivotal economic emergence.
Through her extensive experience across financial institutions, Laideen recognized a critical gap: women needed more than just financial services—they needed financial confidence and education. This insight inspired her to establish her own firm in 2015, where she now leads with both expertise and empathy.
As a mother of four, Laideen brings an authentic perspective to wealth-building. She intimately understands the delicate balance between family aspirations and financial goals, channeling this wisdom into helping women transform their financial anxieties into powerful wealth-building strategies that span generations.
A compelling voice in financial literacy, Laideen has shared her expertise at notable events including Influence Orb Montreal, Afrochic Toronto, FinLit, and The Community Innovation Lab in Durham region.
Beyond the boardroom, you’ll find Laideen embracing life’s precious moments—whether she’s creating memories with her husband and children, taking walks with Rocco, her beloved Doberman, or unwinding with her favorite reality TV shows.
