Dr. Klara du Plessis will lead a Curated Close Listening session based on her newly released, fourth poetry collection, Post-Mortem of the Event. In this work, the process of poetic composition mobilizes audiovisual media, transcription, waveform visualization, and digital humanities and interdisciplinary methods. This discussion-based listening event will showcase the intersection of creative and scholarly practices. Dr. Du Plessis is a postdoctoral fellow at UBCO, affiliated with the AMP Lab.
This event is free, open to anyone, and requires no pre-registration.
