Geoscientific Site Characterization for Canada’s Deep Geological Repository for Used Nuclear Fuel
The Nuclear Waste Management Organization (NWMO) is responsible for implementing, collaboratively with Canadians and Indigenous people, Canada’s Plan for the safe, long-term management of used nuclear fuel. This presentation focuses on the geo-scientific aspects of site characterization as the NWMO studies the remaining sites in increasingly more detail.
