Teaching Assistants (TA) play a significant and varied role on our campus. From facilitating classroom and laboratory experiences, leading tutorials, guiding learners in office hours, and assignment and assessment grading, our TAs are essential to teaching and learning at UBC Okanagan. Supervising instructors provide support and guidance to our TAs.

In this session, we will cover key elements of the TA contract, and we will explore how we build trust in our working relationships, how to communicate expectations with our TAs, and how to navigate difficult conversations.
