Calling all Okanagan game makers for this year’s Global Game Jam!
About the event
Game makers of all kinds are welcome to join us in person on January 24 for presentations from industry speakers before we reveal this year’s GGJ theme. Both Video Game and Board Game jammers of all skill levels are welcome! (All platforms too: PC, VR, TTRPG, console, etc).
After mingling and building a team with strangers or friends, you can work on your game at the Fipke Centre at UBCO or remotely if your team chooses. Please be sure to bring your own devices and tools to participate.
For the conclusion of the event, we will bring everyone together once again to present their finished games.
Jam Space Hours
- Friday, January 24: 3:30-10 pm
- Saturday, January 25: 8 am-10 pm
- Sunday, January 26: 8 am-5:30 pm
Note: Participants are not required to attend in-person for the entirety of the event and are free to work from home. However, they are required to attend the theme reveal at the beginning and the conclusion at the end.
This jam site is hosted by the Okanagan Game Developers Association in partnership with the University of British Columbia Okanagan. This is a free event for age 18+, pre-registration is required.
