Graduate Student Orientation: Learn How to Respond to Disclosures of Sexualized Violence

Sexualized Violence has no place at UBCO, but you do.

As a graduate student at UBC Okanagan, it is important to learn about your responsibilities in creating a culture of consent that supports survivors.

It begins by listening, upholding confidentiality, asking for what people need, respecting their decisions believing and validating. In this training, participants will also learn about the policy, the difference between a disclosure and a report, the investigations office and resources both on and off-campus.
