Grief & Loss Circle
March 25 at 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm

Grief is not limited to mourning, and it can be triggered by a variety of loss, such as a loss of identity, relationship(s), hopes and dreams, or stability. Whatever the root, grief is painful to go through. Join a small group facilitated by UBCO counsellors for weekly conversations on navigating grief, loss, and change.
The goal of this group is for individuals to:
- Receive comfort and encouragement
- Release stress
- Understand the different types of grief and loss
- Learn to cope with grief and loss
What to expect?
Each week, you’ll be joined by fellow students in similar circumstances and the conversations will be lead by certified UBCO counsellors. The group size is kept intentionally small (under 12 individuals) to build trust and connection. While the facilitator will come prepared with topics for discussion, organic conversation is encouraged. Come prepared to listen, share, and explore.
To encourage connection and conversation, please register with the intention of attending each session.
This group is confidential, judgement-free, and respects each participant’s right to privacy.
Registration is required.
