Join us for a conversation between leading scholars on the past, present, and future of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion policies.
Dr. Paolo Gaudiano (New York University) and Dr. Azim Shariff (UBC Vancouver) will address pressing questions around DEI, including possible tensions between the goals of social justice and science, and as well as between meritocratic and diversity-focused hiring.
Hosted by the Heterodox Academy Campus Community at UBC Okanagan and the Department of Economics, Philosophy, and Political Science.
