Indigenous Reads Book Club

Join Christian Isbister, Naim Cardinal, and Jessica Bayer for an exciting Winter book club!

As the weather gets colder, we are eager to pour a hot drink and get quiet with a new book. We hope you’ll join us as we read and reflect on Waubgeshig Rice’s new book Moon of the Turning Leaves.

Join us for our first meeting on December 13th from 1:00 – 2:00 pm in the Library, room LIB 111 for yummy snacks and coffee or tea.

If you are interested in registering for our book club please do so at the link below. Please note that new registrants are asked to secure their own copy of the book. We still encourage you to attend the meeting.

If you cannot make the first planned in-person meeting, no worries! We will catch you another time to ensure you have a copy of the book and we hope to see you at the meetings in the new year. Our full meeting schedule is to be determined but we aim to offer in-person and online options. Stay tuned to our monthly CTL newsletters for more information.

Moon of the Turning Leaves is technically a sequel to Moon of the Crusted Snow however, Rice assures audiences that it is not necessary to read them in order. Read more about Moon of the Turning Leaves here.
