Intercultural Sport Series: Basketball

UBCO Recreation, Indigenous Programs & Services, and the Global Engagement Office, together with SUO Clubs and community partners are teaming up to offer a series of cultural sports events that welcome domestic and international students to participate in and learn about intercultural sports. Students will learn the foundational skills of these sports and activities while having fun engaging in multiple activities.
Participants will be encouraged to participate in multiple events to expand their knowledge and experience with a variety of sports. By attending 2 or more events, participants will automatically be entered to win grand prizes!
Join the Filipino Student Association for a 4 on 4 basketball game night. Games will be focused on playing for fun. There will be a maximum of 12 teams with games being 8 minutes long. Teams will be determined on the day of the event. The first basketball games will begin at 6 pm, so be sure to arrive at 5:30 to check-in and form your teams!
