Intercultural Sport Series: Fencing

UBCO Recreation, Indigenous Programs & Services, and the Global Engagement Office, together with SUO Clubs and community partners are teaming up to offer a series of cultural sport events that welcome domestic and international students to participate in and learn about intercultural sports. Students will learn the foundational skills of these sports and activities while having fun engaging in multiple activities.
Participants will be encouraged to participate in multiple events to expand their knowledge and experience with a variety of sports. By attending 2 or more events, participants will automatically be entered into win grand prizes!
Come join the Student Fencing Club this November for an action packed fencing workshop! Participants will have the opportunity to learn basic fencing skills and technique. No prior experience or equipment required.
Participants will need gym shoes, exercise clothing (including long pants) and a water bottle.
