Les Arts Francophones

March 20 at 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm

The Centre culturel francophone de l’Okanagan (CCFO) and Espaces Francophones UBCO celebrate International Francophonie Day on March 20, with a 5 à 7 highlighting local Francophone Arts.

Come socialize around Francophonie while tasting specialties from various Francophone cultures – Canadian cheeses, macarons, Moroccan pastries, and French wine.

From 6 pm, you will see a trio of artistic performances by talents from our community, blending singing, music, and dance. Élodie Orsei will sing original compositions in French, Thomas Bégin will perform French songs arranged for classical guitar, and Claudia Moore will dance to the rhythm of these melodies.

The event is free for members of the UBC community, please bring your UBC ID.

Espaces francophones UBC Okanagan is a joint initiative of the Faculty of Creative and Critical Studies (French program) and the Okanagan School of Education (French Pathways).
